Hi Cezar. Matter is anything that has mass and takes up space. Air has mass and volume (takes up space) so air is matter.
Example. Think about a balloon: when you blow up a balloon, it gets bigger because of the air you put in (because air has volume). Air has mass (look at the picture in exercise 5 page 79 where you can see an empty balloon and an inflated balloon).
In conclusion: Air is matter because it has mass and volume. The only difference is that we can't see it with our eyes.
Hola Rocio. Qué chulo el blog.
